Strawberry Banana Smoothie Recipe

The strawberry banana smoothie is a timeless favorite—fruity, creamy, and naturally sweet. It’s perfect for breakfast, a snack, or a quick refresh after a workout. This version uses just a few ingredients and comes together in minutes. It serves 2.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries (hulled)

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)

  • ½ cup plain or vanilla yogurt

  • 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)

  • A few ice cubes (if using fresh fruit)

Blending

Place the banana, strawberries, milk, yogurt, and honey in a blender. Add ice cubes if your fruit isn’t frozen.

Blend until completely smooth, about 30 seconds to 1 minute. If it’s too thick, add a splash more milk to loosen it.

Serving

Pour into two glasses and serve right away. You can garnish with a fresh strawberry or banana slice on the rim if you like.

This smoothie is naturally sweet and creamy without needing much extra sugar. It’s a simple way to enjoy fruit, and it works just as well with a handful of oats or spinach blended in if you want a little extra.
