Blue Mojito with Blue Curacao Recipe

The Blue Mojito is a colorful, citrusy twist on the traditional mojito, using Blue Curacao to bring a bold ocean-blue color and a subtle orange flavor. It’s minty, fizzy, and refreshing, making it perfect for parties or a summer evening. This recipe makes 2 glasses.

Ingredients

10–12 fresh mint leaves

1 lime, cut into wedges

2 tablespoons sugar (or to taste)

60 ml (about 4 tablespoons) Blue Curacao syrup or liqueur

60 ml white rum (optional, for cocktail version)

1½ cups soda water or sparkling water

Ice cubes

Extra mint and lime slices for garnish

Instructions

1. Muddle the Mint and Lime

In a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, add mint leaves, lime wedges, and sugar. Gently press with a muddler or the back of a spoon to release the juices and mint oil.

2. Add Blue Curacao

Pour in Blue Curacao syrup (or liqueur) and stir to combine. If using white rum, add it at this stage.

3. Assemble the Drink

Fill two serving glasses with ice. Divide the muddled mint-lime mixture between them. Top each glass with soda water and stir gently.

4. Garnish and Serve

Add a sprig of mint and a lime slice to each glass. Serve immediately with a straw or stirring stick.

Tips

Use Blue Curacao syrup for a non-alcoholic version

Chill the soda water for best fizz

Try adding crushed ice for a slushy texture

This mojito is bold in color and flavor, with just the right amount of fizz and sweetness.
