A chocolate protein smoothie is a quick and satisfying drink that blends the taste of chocolate with the power of protein. It’s perfect after a workout, for breakfast on the go, or whenever you need something that tastes like a treat but fuels your body. Creamy, cold, and easy to make, this recipe serves 1 to 2.
Ingredients
-
1 banana (fresh or frozen)
-
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
-
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
-
1 tablespoon peanut butter or almond butter
-
¾ cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
-
½ cup plain Greek yogurt (or non-dairy yogurt)
-
3–4 ice cubes
-
Optional: 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (if you want it sweeter)
Blending
Add all ingredients to a blender—banana, protein powder, cocoa powder, nut butter, milk, yogurt, and ice.
Blend until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk to loosen it. If it’s too thin, add a few extra ice cubes or a spoon of oats.
Serving
Pour into a glass and drink right away. You can also top it with a few cacao nibs, sliced banana, or crushed nuts for texture.
This chocolate protein smoothie is thick, chocolatey, and keeps you full—no fuss, just good flavor and steady energy.
