Honeydew melon juice is a refreshing drink made from ripe honeydew blended with a touch of lime and chilled water. It’s naturally hydrating, mildly sweet, and perfect for warm days. This simple juice comes together in minutes and needs no added sugar if the melon is ripe. Serves 2–3.
Ingredients
2 cups honeydew melon, peeled and cubed
½ cup cold water (adjust for consistency)
Juice of ½ lime (optional, for brightness)
Ice cubes, for blending or serving
Optional: a few mint leaves or a drizzle of honey (if needed)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Melon
Cut the honeydew melon in half, scoop out the seeds, peel, and cut into chunks.
2. Blend
In a blender, add the melon cubes, water, lime juice, and a few ice cubes.
Blend until completely smooth.
3. Taste and Adjust
Taste the juice—if the melon isn’t sweet enough, add a little honey.
If the juice is too thick, add a splash more water.
4. Strain (Optional)
For a smoother texture, strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve.
This step is optional if you prefer a pulpier drink.
5. Serve
Pour into glasses over ice.
Garnish with mint or a thin melon slice.
Tips
Use chilled melon for the coldest, freshest flavor
Try adding cucumber or fresh ginger for a twist
Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the fridge for a few hours
Honeydew melon juice is light, clean, and refreshing—perfect for breakfast, after a workout, or served with a summer meal.
